A trip up to London as Dad’s removal services was on duty moving Anneliese into her new flat, so an early start and headed for the wonderfully named Nonsuch Park, Cheam. The M3 was shut at Farnborough, so headed for Guildford, then there was an accident on the A3 and the traffic was crawling but made it to Nonsuch Park with about 15 minutes to spare.
A first parkrun in the snow (and also lots of mud) for me. With the emphasis on Paris training, this was not part of the plan, and with 20 miles asked for on the Sunday, I thought I’d trot around in about 5:30 per km. But somehow, without really trying, I found myself running a faster pace, and was surprised to be placed 124th out of 346 in 25:46.
After that completed an eventful move and erected three curtain rails, so all-in-all quite a day 🙂
